A Fraternity Used the Top of Their House to Do Something EXTRAORDINARY for a Young Hospital Patient Living Next Door

Tags:

Once 12-year-old cancer patient Lexi Brown was admitted to the Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA in California, she and her family began spending lots of time holed up in her small hospital room. At one point, to pass the time, Lexi and her mom put up a note in the window, asking someone to send them a pizza delivery. But they had NO idea that their lighthearted message would spark a unique, heartwarming friendship.

You see, living next door to Lexi’s hospital are the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a UCLA fraternity. They granted her request for pizza–showing up to deliver it, and bringing red roses and a guitar to serenade the young bedridden girl.

The guys then began visiting her regularly, helping to brighten her spirits and distract her from her grueling treatments. But it’s what they did this holiday season–using their rooftop, which is all Lexi can see from her window–that has our hearts filled with emotion. Check it out!
