Little Boy Yodeling in Walmart Steals the Internet’s Heart

Tags:

Sometimes, we all just need a break from all the bad news in the world — not to mention our own hectic, busy lives. Fortunately, an adorable and very talented young boy is here to give us all that breather we so desperately need.

We’re not exactly sure why 10-year-old Mason Ramsey decided to start yodeling in the middle of a Walmart store in Illinois. But after some impressed bystanders caught his performance on video, hundreds of thousands of people were so happy he sung Hank Williams Sr.’s “Lovesick Blues.”

Watch below and see why this kid has become the latest viral sensation:

The best part? Eagle-eyed viewers found out that this wasn’t even Ramsey’s first performance in Walmart! Apparently, the budding star had performed in the store at least once before — while sitting in a shopping cart, no less.

Some other folks dug even deeper into the internet archives and uncovered a video of Ramsey performing for a Tennessee radio station, strumming on his guitar and singing his little heart out to — you guessed it — yet another Hank Williams song.

It’s no wonder why Ramsey’s latest video has been liked and shared hundreds and thousands of times on social media and beyond. Not too many people can say they first hit it big while yodeling in front of low-priced cleaning supplies — and that’s exactly what makes this video so special.

Viral videos come and go on the internet all the time, but we hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Ramsey. Maybe the next time we hear from him, he’ll be onstage!
