This Tiny Baby Was Born So Early That No One Expected Her to Survive. See What She Looks Like Today as She Celebrates Her First Christmas

When Mollie Perrin was born three-months premature to parents Stephanie, 34, and James, 38, she weighed just one pound. Sadly, doctors predicted that she’d only survive for a few weeks.

So tiny her arm slipped through her dad's wedding ring

But Mollie turned out to be quite the fighter, and now, seven months later, the little sweetheart has finally been able to leave the hospital, just in time for Christmas.

So small when she was first born that her dad’s wedding ring could slip right onto her tiny arm when he was first allowed to hold her, Mollie was born with Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), a placental disorder that restricted her growth. But the little girl has grown to eight pounds and is now much healthier and stronger, as the family’s heartwarming holiday photos this year prove.

“She’s still so tiny, but looking back at the first photos of her with James’s wedding ring around her arm brings tears to my eyes. It’s amazing that she survived,” her mom told the [Mirror](

Talk about a holiday blessing–and a true miracle.
