Twin Baby Girls Developed Rare Cancer That Stumped Doctors. Then, One Simple Move Changed Everything

Like most new parents, Alyssa and Michael Dunn thought their identical twin daughters, Isabella and Madeleine, were little miracles, perfect in every way. It took a routine checkup at the pediatrician to realize they weren’t as healthy as they seemed.

Their doctor noticed that Madeleine had a swollen belly. Then, an ultrasound revealed a rare form of infant cancer. To make matters worse, Isabella was diagnosed with the same uncommon illness. The odds of surviving were against them.

While the girls underwent chemotherapy, their parents continually hoped and prayed for a miracle to save their children. Then something incredible happened. The doctors cradled Isabella and Madeleine together and their recognition of one another sparked a change. The infants went from being sickly to laughing and playing again. They got to continue their treatments at home, and within a short amount of time there was no evidence of the disease in them.

“God chose to heal them,” is all Mom and Dad could say.

The girls are healthy and happy today.
