If you love Chick-fil-A, you might be harboring a lifelong dream of eating it for lunch for the rest of your life. Well, your dreams may be coming true — sort of — as the company is now offering the chance to win free food for an entire year. But there’s a big caveat: You have to do a bit of detective work if you really want to win this tasty reward. Oh, and you probably need to live in Georgia.
For one reason or another, someone decided to steal a Chick-fil-A catering van. In hopes of catching the thief, Chick-fil-A is offering free food for an entire year to the person who can identify the van thief. The chain claims the crime was committed on Sunday night around 9:45 p.m. at the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A in Cartersville, Georgia.
“Reward! Chick-fil-A for a year to the person who can identify this suspect, leading to an arrest, who stole the Chick-fil-A catering van on Sunday night at 9:45 p.m.,” the company wrote in a Facebook post. “The van was stolen from the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A Cherokee Place in Cartersville. Any information will remain anonymous. Please call 770-401-1239 or the City of Cartersville Police Department. Please share this post!”
According to WSB-TV2 the van was later found in Acworth crashed into a parked car in someone’s driveway. The suspect has yet to be identified, so there’s still time to get out your detective glasses and score some free chicken sandwiches. All callers will remain anonymous. If you have information, the restaurant is asking people to call 770-401-1239 or the City of Cartersville Police Department.
