IHOP is kicking 2018 off by bringing back the one thing everyone loves — endless stacks of its buttery pancakes.
Starting January 2, IHOP customers will be able to sink their teeth into a stack of hot, fluffy buttermilk pancakes for just $3.99. Guests will have the option to enjoy a full stack (five pancakes) or a short stack (two pancakes) with a combo breakfast plate piled high with eggs, crispy hash browns, and a choice of either bacon, sausage, or ham — followed by an additional amount of delicious pancake stacks. Sounds like we’ll be spending our mornings at IHOP!
To get the message far and wide, IHOP released a 30-second campaign called “Pilots,” that puts a funny spin on flight safety. Instead of reading out a monotonous list of procedures filled with boring and technical airplane jargon, the pilots talk “pancakes” while they’re re-routing the plane and their passengers to land at the nearest IHOP to pig out on “All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes.”
“The love people have for the IHOP brand — and especially for our pancakes — was the natural launching pad for our new advertising campaign and the basis for its rallying cry of ‘Pancakes Pancakes Pancakes,'” said Brad Haley, the chief marketing officer at IHOP, in a press release.
A rallying cry for pancakes, indeed! Who wouldn’t want to indulge on the fluffy goodness that is IHOP pancakes?
If you want to take advantage of IHOP’s All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes, you’d better act fast: The promotion is only available until February 11, 2018. That means you’ve got less than a month to fill up on those golden, fresh-off-the-griddle pancakes!
Please note: The $3.99 is only for a full stack of pancakes (five) with unlimited refills of two at a time. If you order a combo, it comes with two pancakes, and you would still get unlimited refills of two pancakes at a time, but it’s at the fixed price for the full combo that’s listed on the menu.
