Dream Job Alert: Moe’s Needs a ‘Chief Taco Officer’

Tags:

If you love tacos as much as we do, it’d probably be a dream come true to have a job totally focused on them. Well, thanks to the beloved fast-casual Mexican chain Moe’s, that dream will actually become a temporary reality for one lucky person — for a delicious two weeks.

Moe’s is offering its devoted fans and followers the rare opportunity to hold the title of a “Chief Taco Officer” — a taco enthusiast who will get to tour several cities throughout the country while traveling in a Moe’s food truck. For those two weeks on a “Taco Tour,” this Chief Taco Officer will get the chance to share love and knowledge of tacos with Moe’s fans nationwide during June 2018.

Although two weeks is a super-short time, the gig also comes with some pretty impressive perks. The person who gets the position has unlimited access to all-you-can-eat tacos during the trip, a “fun budget” of $1,000, and arrangements for flights, food, and hotels.

No special skills or experience are required. Anyone who is at least 18 years old and a United States resident is welcome to apply — as long as he or she has a sense of humor, social media savviness, a membership with Moe’s Rockin’ Rewards, the time for a two-week trip, and a deep love of tacos.

The best part? It’s super easy to send your app in. All you have to do is sign up for a free Rockin’ Rewards membership with Moe’s on the company’s app and then make a public post on social media — Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter —and tell the company why you would be the perfect fit for this job.

But if you want the gig, you better not waste too much time, because applications close on April 20.
