Little Caesars Is Giving Away Free Pizza on April 2

Tags:

The only thing more delicious than pizza is free pizza, as far as we’re concerned. That’s why we were so excited to hear that Little Caesars is giving away free slices of its deep dish pepperoni pizza to lunchtime customers on April 2. As the beloved company puts it, the reason for the temporarily priceless pie is because “crazy happened.”

You might remember what a huge deal it was during March Madness when the No. 16 seed University of Maryland-Baltimore County beat the No. 1 seed University of Virginia in the NCAA Men’s Tournament. Little Caesars apparently thought so, too, because the company had quietly promised a free lunch combo to customers beforehand if “crazy happened” — in other words, if University of Maryland-Baltimore County actually beat Virginia.

Since that’s exactly what happened in the history-making March 16 game, Little Caesars is putting its money where its mouth is — literally. On April 2, people all over the country get to indulge in a free four-slice deep dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-oz. Pepsi product. It’s worth noting that this amazing deal is only good from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you might want to get in line early that day to make sure you don’t miss out.

Even if you aren’t crazy about basketball and haven’t been following any teams this year, we think it’s pretty safe to say that most pizza lovers are crazy about a special like this one. After all, free pizza is always a win in our books!
