Oh, no! Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band fame has an upsetting update for his fans regarding his upcoming concerts: They've all been cancelled.
If you were looking forward to seeing the rocker in concert, you just might have to wait a little bit longer. According to a statement on Allman's website: "It has been determined that Gregg will not be touring in 2017. For those of you who purchased tickets for shows in June, contact the ticket outlet from where you purchased the tickets for a refund."
Neither the 69-year-old singer nor his team gave any explanation for the change. Unfortunately, this isn't the only time concertgoers have been disappointed. In August last year, Allman canceled all of his 2016 tour dates, citing "serious health issues." There's been no word--despite some speculation--that the most recent axing of concerts is due to his health.
Allman's health has been spotty for some time now. Since 2007, he has battled varying illnesses, including liver tumors, hepatitis C, and abnormal heartbeats. In an attempt to be healthier, he switched to a vegan, gluten-free diet. In April of last year, his tour bus crashed, but Allman was not injured.
We're sad to hear that Gregg Allman won't be performing. We hope he is healthy and can return soon.
