After a summer at beach in the sun, does your hair feel like it needs a little love? These super simple hair remedies that you can make in the comfort of your own revive worn strands for stunning results in no time.
Plump fall-flat locks with Epsom salt "suds."
The mineral-filled salt draws moisture deep into follicles, boosting hair’s diameter from the inside to counteract volume-sapping humidity, says celebrity hairstylist Kiyah Wright. Bonus: It’s been shown to help maintain a healthy scalp, which encourages growth for fuller tresses over time.
Try it: Mix 2 tsp. of Epsom salts with a dollop of shampoo. Massage onto damp hair from roots to ends while showering. Let sit 5 minutes before rinsing.

Try it: In a bowl, combine 3/4 tsp. of grape Kool-Aid powder with 4 Tbsp. of shampoo. Lather into damp hair from roots to ends. Let sit 5 minutes; rinse. Use twice a week.

The fruit’s potassium and vitamin A work in unison to repair and strengthen strands while its amino acids penetrate follicles to deeply moisturize from within, reviving the dull, straw-like strands the sun leaves in its wake. Pair with shine-inducing almond oil and humectant honey to speed results.
Try it: Mix 1 ripe banana, 2 Tbsp. of almond oil, and 1 Tbsp. of honey in a blender. Work through damp hair. Let sit 20 minutes; rinse.
Boost your hair’s hue with a rinse.
These color-enhancers ensure strands stay vibrant all year long. Find the “drink rinse” that’s right for you, refrigerate it, then pour two cups onto damp hair and rinse after 10 minutes.
Light locks? Try chamomile tea. The tea’s lightening compounds bring out the natural highlights in blond hair.
Dark locks? Try coffee. Tannins that give the brew its deep color add sharpness and depth back to brown or black tresses.
Red locks? Try cranberry juice. Vivid red pigments in the juice attach to strands to intensify fiery-hued hair.
