Seven-year-old Aiden Wright was playing at a park in Salem, MA with his uncle Daniel when he went to take a turn down the slide and came across a black checkbook. Stuffed inside was some money–a whopping $8,000 in cash.
While the two might have been tempted to head to a local mall and start shopping, they did the total opposite.

Daniel took his nephew right to the Salem Police Department, where officers were quickly able to reach Elias Santos, the owner of the money and whose name was on the checkbook. Santos, a local contractor who had been at the park earlier that day with his kids, arrived at the station right away–and expressed his extreme gratitude to Aiden with a nice reward.
