Congratulations are in order for Josh Brolin and his wife, Kathryn Boyd — they're expecting their first baby together. The 50-year-old actor took to Instagram on May 29 to share the happy news by posting a photo of pregnant Kathryn, 31, showing off her growing baby bump. "There’s a new sheriff in town, and she’s no bigger than a sweet potato. Hang on to your hats," Brolin captioned the pic. After he shared the big news, the star's 938,000 Instagram followers couldn't help but send their well wishes to the Hollywood couple. "Awwww, congrats... you’re gonna be great parents. Let the good times begin!" one person wrote with another similarly adding, "Good lord this baby is going to be beautiful!"
Though this baby will be Boyd's first child, it'll be the third for Brolin. The No Country for Old Men actor is already a dad to two older kids — son Trevor Brolin, 29, and daughter Eden Brolin, 24 — with his first wife, actress Alice Adair. The two were previously hitched from 1988 until 1994. Following their divorce, the actor was engaged to Minnie Driver for six months before marrying his second wife, Diane Lane, in 2004. Brolin and Lane divorced after nearly 10 years of marriage in 2013.
Boyd used to be the actor's personal assistant, and the couple first went public with their romance during an Italian vacation back in 2015. They later got engaged during the spring of that year and tied the knot in September 2016. Congrats on your pregnancy, Josh and Kathryn. We can't wait to meet your little one in a few months!
