It’s always fun to tune into festive specials when the holiday season rolls around. Whether they're classics we look forward to every year, like A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, or something brand new, they always make us feel warm and fuzzy. This year, we can also count on one of our favorite royal couples to join in with a special Christmas appearance, too!
Before joining Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family (minus Harry and Meghan) at Sandringham House for their traditional Christmas gathering, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be popping up on television sets alongside former Great British Bake Off host Mary Berry for a special holiday show. According to a press release from the BBC, the program is called A Berry Royal Christmas and will air in the UK on December 16.
The pair have appeared along with their family in previous specials, but this might actually be the first time Kate and William have stepped in front of cameras for one of their own — making it all the more exciting! The show will follow Berry, Kate, and William as they prepare and serve festive meals for several charities they support. "I am honored that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have invited me to join them on four of their royal charity engagements this Christmas," Berry told the BBC. "It will be truly special to see the causes so close to their hearts, as well as to hear all about the amazing support these charities provide."
It will all end in a big Christmas party, likely hosted at a royal venue and catered by Berry, for workers and volunteers who offer their services throughout the holiday season.

This isn't the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has joined forces with Berry for charity. They first met in 2013 while attending an event for Child Bereavement UK, a cause they both support. Kate and Berry apparently hit it off thanks to a shared love of gardening. Berry even went on to help Kate with one of her recent flower shows for the children’s garden at RHS Wisley.
We can't wait to tune into see Berry, Kate, and William working together to spread holiday joy!
