You're forgiven if you don't quite remember Cora from 'Titanic.' She was a minor character that only appeared in a few scenes in the hit film. But in the few moments she was onscreen, she won the hearts of the many people watching, especially during the "steerage" scene.
As you might recall, the wealthy female protagonist Rose (played by Kate Winslet) decides to step outside her comfort zone for a night of drinking and dancing with her much less wealthy love interest, Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio). She makes her way down to the lower class cabin, where she goes for a spin with her new man.
Though she was only eight years old while making the movie, she has very happy memories doing so. She said, "My mom has an amazing picture of me, Leo, Kate, and my little sister Rachel hanging out when they were resetting for the dancing scene. It’s one of my favorites and is a reminder of just how lucky I am to have worked with two of the best actors out there."
These days, she's still interested in acting--and recently earned a degree in writing from California State University, Long Beach. Word is she has her own sketch comedy coming out soon! We're so excited--and we bet Jack would be, too.
