It looks like Madonna has some serious dancers on her hands! The mom-of-six took to Instagram to share the sweetest video of three of her kids dancing together to The Greatest Showman's "Rewrite the Stars" and our hearts can't take the cuteness. In the video, 5-year-old twins Estere and Stella dance with their big brother David Banda, 12, who perfectly coordinates whose turn it is to give a twirl. Watch the video below to see the cute video!
"Today seems like a good day to rewrite the stars!!! #Music #Dance #Inspiration #Children #Life #Happiness #Love," Madonna captioned the video. Eleven-year-old Mercy James even briefly appeared in the video, singing along to the song sung by Zac Efron and Zendaya. Clearly, this soundtrack is much loved in Madonna's household!
The "Like a Prayer" singer, who's heavily involved in humanitarian work in Malawi, recently adopted Estere and Stella in February 2017. They join Madonna's biological children, Lourdes and Rocco, and her other adoptive children, David and Mercy, who she also adopted from Malawi in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
The 59-year-old has been candid about the difficulties of the adoption process, saying it was "complicated" due to her fame. "Because I’m a public figure, people don’t want to be perceived as giving me any kind of special treatment, so I get the hard road," she revealed to People in September 2017. "Every newspaper said I kidnapped [David]. In my mind, I was thinking, 'Wait a minute. I’m trying to save somebody’s life. I did everything by the book. That was a real low point for me. I would cry myself to sleep."
She also dealt with further complications when adopting Mercy due to her recent divorce from Guy Ritchie. According to Madonna, Malawian officials told her she was "not capable of raising a child" as a single mother. "The way I was treated — that sexist behavior — was ridiculous," she said. Luckily, David, Mercy, Estere, and Stella were all eventually brought home — and it looks like they're all extremely happy!
