Of course her home is stunning! Meryl Streep has snapped up one of the most coveted mid-century homes in Pasadena, California. The house rests on two acres of land, with views of the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance, and it's easy to picture the 68-year-old living here.
Meryl and husband Don Gummer purchased the mid-century marvel back in December 2017 for a pretty penny — $3.6 million to be exact. It features three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, stunning glass walls, and vaulted ceilings, and even has its original windows and doors — which add to its charm. According to Curbed Los Angeles, this was the first time the house was put on the market since the 1960s.

Designed by architects Whitney Smith and Wayne Williams in the 1950s, the 3,087-square-foot home has a tall stone fireplace at the center of its living room, making it a focal point for the house. It's nestled on one of Pasadena's "most prestigious streets," according to Architectural Digest, which makes the purchase even more appealing. Meryl and Don will be living among some Hollywood A-listers, including new neighbors Kristen Wiig and John C. Reilly. We wonder if they stopped by to give them a warm welcome when the two first moved in!
Each of the three bedrooms has floor-to-ceiling windows, just like the rest of the house, so each room has a lot of natural lighting. It seems like Meryl's new home pretty much has no flaws! And perhaps the best part of the house? From the backyard, there is a perfect view of the iconic Colorado Street Bridge. How cool! We can just picture Meryl and Don sitting out there together every evening and gazing at the view.
