Even Prince Harry can’t resist a free sample every now and then! While supporting his wife Meghan Markle at her charity cookbook launch this week, Prince Harry found himself getting seriously tempted by the delicious-looking appetizer table.
Although the prince wasn’t quite done with his official photo session, he simply couldn't stop himself from swiping a few yummy snacks — while the cameras were still rolling. As People reported, at least one news station caught the royal red-handed as he rejoined the crowd with his treats, which were not very well hidden behind his back.
Hilariously enough, the footage also appeared to show Prince Harry checking his surroundings and doing a bit of a double-take at the exact moment when he realized that his sneaky appetizer raid may not have been so sneaky after all.
Chris Ship, a reporter for ITV who helped capture the priceless moment, wrote in a tweet, “I could be wrong, but I reckon we’ve caught Prince Harry red-handed stealing some samosas from the Meghan’s 'Together' cookbook event they were at today! Have a watch…”

Is it just us, or does Prince Harry immediately give himself away with that sheepish smile? Too funny!
We have to admit that seeing Prince Harry so enamored by those snacks is putting us in the mood for some tasty treats ourselves. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to sample the recipes from Together: Our Community Cookbook ($16.99, Amazon). The book will be released on September 25, and we’re already looking forward to seeing the unique project — which Meghan Markle helped create — in all its delicious glory.
Even better? The cookbook is dedicated to a very worthy cause. It features recipes from the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen, who helped cook food for people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in London. But the cookbook will go beyond simply paying homage to the importance of community for those women; a portion of the proceeds from the sales will assist the Hubb Community Kitchen by helping them further strengthen their community bonds through cooking.
We can't think of a better excuse to get snacking!
