Everyone knows about Meghan Markle’s acting career before marrying Prince Harry, most notably as one of the lead characters on Suits. However, it turns out she’s not the only performer in the royal relationship. Long before he met his starlet wife, Harry acted in his high school’s 2003 production of Much Ado About Nothing.
The play is one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies, with a story centered on two couples. One pair had openly admitted their love, but are then duped into a heartbreaking separation; another pair let their pride stop them from admitting their feelings for each other until their family tricks them into getting back together. All of the confusion is eventually cleared up after one character fakes her death. Don’t worry, unlike Romeo and Juliet, both couples are alive and happily united by the end of this play.
As surprising as it is to learn that Harry dabbled in acting as a teen, it’s even more shocking to discover he played one of the bad guys! Take a look below to see the priceless photos of him as Conrade, a henchman to the show's big villain, Don John.
