A Sporty and Stylish Meghan Markle Steps Out With Harry to Help Honor Young Athletes
There’s less than a month to go until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry hit Australian shores for the Invictus Games, and it looks like the royal couple are just as excited about the sporting event as we are. The pair quite literally had a ball of a time attending an awards ceremony for Coach Core at Loughborough University on September 24, laughing and playing around with participants of the program.
Coach Core helps unemployed and marginalized young people become sporting coaches, and is funded by the young royals’ Royal Foundation. Participants are able to take lessons from sporting stars who mentor and train them.
Are you ready to be blown away by some of our amazing apprentices, graduates and projects, being celebrated today in the first ever Coach Core Awards?

The support from Harry and Meghan comes as the two prepare to attend the Invictus Games in Sydney next month. The Games were founded by Prince Harry himself for injured or sick armed service personnel and veterans. Participants will take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, indoor rowing, and sitting volleyball.
The newlyweds shared some sweet moments during the event, being pictured with their arms around each other and laughing. Meghan looked stunning as usual in a Oscar de la Renta navy top and Altuzarra trousers. The event was also attended by sporting celebrities including Paula Radcliffe, netballer Eboni Beckford-Chambers, and British tennis player Laura Robson. The awards recognized the young people who had taken part in the program.

Harry and Meghan are set to arrive in Australia on October 17, visiting Dubbo first, followed by Melbourne the next day. The couple will then head to Sydney for the Invictus Games, followed by Fraser Island on October 22. This will mark Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first official royal tour as husband and wife, and is set to garner global interest.
At last year’s Invictus Games, the couple, who had only recently gone public, caused hearts to flutter when they were seen sharing a PDA at the closing ceremony. We’ve got our fingers crossed for some more adorable couple-moments in October!
