Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the most famous engaged people on earth, everyone wants to know every little detail about them. TLC is here to fill our curiosities with a one-hour special, tentatively titled "When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Engagement," about the lives of the two love birds.
The show will start by looking back at Harry and Meghan's childhoods, which are surprisingly similar. Both were raised by separated parents and attended private schools. (Harry attended Eton College in England, and Meghan graduated from Northwestern University.) But their parental situation and esteemed education is where the similarities stop — Harry grew up very much in the public eye as a member of England's royal family, and Meghan spent her days with her dad on TV sets, a foreshadowing of her eventual Hollywood career.
The special will also focus on Meghan's life as a "biracial divorcée" and her role as a human rights ambassador. But if you're eager to hear the juicy stuff — the details about their relationship — don't worry. TLC says the hour "will examine the couple's first few outings together, how the media reacted to their romance, and the swirl of rumors around the couple's imminent engagement."
The couple has kept a very low profile in their year and a half of dating, with their most notable appearance this past September, when the rumors of an engagement were at its peak. Since becoming engaged on November 27, the pair have stepped out twice together — once for their photocall on the day of their engagement at Kensington Palace, and again on December 1 in Nottingham, England.

Some close friends and family members of the royal lovebirds will make appearances in the special, including Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Markle; some of Meghan's closest friends, like actress Abby Wathen; reporter Tom Sellers; Queen Elizabeth's former press secretary, Dickie Arbiter; and other royal family experts. Historian David Starkey will also delve into the history and culture of the royal family and give a glimpse into Meghan's new life.
"When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Engagement" will air on TLC on Tuesday, December 12, at 9 PM EST. We can't wait to watch!
