She Feared a Miscarriage, Until She Saw Her Ultrasound

Tags:

Mom-to-be Julie Davidson was devastated when she began having severe back pain during her seventh week of her pregnancy. She was convinced that she was about to have a miscarriage.

Instead, she found out she’d be giving birth to quadruplets.

Julie and her husband Justin made a trip to the emergency room after her back pain started, fearing the worst.

But then the doctor showed her the ultrasound, which clearly showed four developing babies.

“I freaked out!” Julie said. “Not because I was mad but because having quadruplets was not expected or really an ‘option’ at all when we found out I was pregnant.”

After all, she and Justin had conceived the babies naturally, which made the doctors’ news all that more surprising–and exciting.

“Justin had went to get me apple juice while we waited on the doctor and I called him crying telling him he needed to come back now,” she said. “From the moment I told him he’s had the biggest smile and has been positive and my rock and I’m so thankful for him.”

And on Jan. 21, she gave birth to little Callie, Teagan, Mckenna, and Sawyer.

According to the family’s latest update on Jan. 24, both the mom and babies are doing well–and they got to finally come home.

But as happy as the new parents are, they are still in needs of funds raised to help pay for a van that can transport all of them together and to help them build out their home for the unexpected little miracles.

If you’d like to pitch in, they have a GoFundMe page set up to give them a hand up.
