If you're pretty good at cooking and have an insatiable obsession with the royal family, then we've got a pretty amazing job opportunity for you. Queen Elizabeth is currently searching for an in-house Assistant Chef. That's right, we said in-house (or in-palace, rather!).
Apparently, the royal family is in need of an experienced culinary master to cook for the Queen and her guests right at Buckingham Palace. Sure, that sounds intimidating, but just think of the opportunities you'd have! Meeting the Queen, rubbing shoulders with visiting dignitaries, maybe even getting the chance to absorb some of that Markle Sparkle everyone is talking about? Sounds like fun to us!

“In our state-of-the-art kitchens, you'll prepare classical and contemporary menus for a wide range of events, learning essential skills that will provide stepping stones for a great career,” the job description reads.
The position of Demi Chef de Partie would be a full-time, five-days-per-week (Monday through Sunday) gig with an irresistible benefits package that includes 33 days off, a 15 percent employer contribution pension scheme, all of your meals, and of course, living accommodations in Buckingham Palace. Hmm, and perhaps a front row seat to Prince Harry's and Meghan Markle's wedding in May?

Fortunately, you don't have to be a top-notch chef to snag the position. According to the job description, you'll just need to "have some experience, possibly within a premier kitchen or volume catering; however, this isn't essential. We're more interested in your ability and enthusiasm to deliver across all four sections of kitchen.”
Need some helpful hints before you apply? Just remember, the Queen isn't to keen on garlic — but chocolate is definitely a royal family favorite.
Sounds ideal, doesn't it? Essentially, you'll just have to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner (possibly a few tea parties and brunch menus) in exchange for a palace lifestyle and 33 days of solid vacation time. If you're interested, you'd better hurry: The application window officially closes on January 1, 2018.
