Genius Husband Follows Wife’s Pinterest Account to Nail Gift-Giving Every Year

When your birthday or the holidays roll around, are you careful to drop subtle (and not-so-subtle hints) to your hubby about what you want? This year, instead of hoping that your gift list requests haven’t landed on deaf ears, direct your husband to your Pinterest wish list boards.

One husband in Westfield, NJ, has been scouring his wife’s Pinterest account — without her knowledge — so he could seemingly surprise her every year with the perfect gift. How smart! Jordan Lebeau created an account on the photo cataloging website in 2014 when he and now-wife TyAnna were still dating. He’d been pursuing her for years, and when she finally agreed to a Valentine’s Day date, he knew he had to impress her. With no idea what to get her, Jordan’s friend recommended checking her Pinterest, and the rest is history.

Jordan shared his life hack on Twitter, saying his wife was unaware of her husband’s tactic, and TyAnna confirmed to BuzzFeed that she did, in fact, have no knowledge of hubby’s account.

“She’s picky and she likes things that tend to be small or handmade … so I like to get things right the first time,” he told BuzzFeed. Over the years, he’s “surprised” TyAnna with “a sapphire nose ring, lip glosses, and earrings.”

And now that his secret is out, Twitter is still congratulating his clever thinking.

Women, in particular, found Jordan’s methods heartwarming.

Okay ladies, so the next time your husband casually asks what you’d like for Christmas or your birthday, show him the link to your Pinterest account. You’ll never be disappointed again.
