Steven Tyler Can’t Help but Gush About His Adorable Grandchildren

Tags:

He’s one proud grandpa! Steven Tyler is wholeheartedly embracing his role as a grandfather, and he can’t help but gush about his grandchildren. The 69-year-old stepped out in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, January 28 to attend the inaugural Janie’s Fund gala, and he opened up about the littlest members of his family during the event.

“First of all, I’m Papa Stevie,” he adorably revealed to People. Two of Steven’s daughters, Liv Tyler, 40, and Mia Tyler, 39, have children of their own, and the Aerosmith frontman loves to dote on them. As of right now, he’s a grandpa to four little ones:13-year-old Milo, 2-year-old Sailor Gene, 18-month-old Lula Rose, and 8-month-old Axton.

One thing’s for sure, Steven is obviously a cool grandpa! “The really young ones, like Mia’s son Ax, don’t know me yet,” the musician said. “When they get a little older and know me, see me on TV, I think things will change. That’s so amazing when that happens. They start looking at me different because they saw the ‘Janie’s Got a Gun’ video, or ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady),’ or some ‘Sweet Emotion.'” We don’t doubt it! It must be so cool for Milo to spend time with his famous grandfather.

Understandably, it’s difficult for the family to juggle all of their busy work schedules, but they do their best! “Right now, I’m still really busy. Liv is in England — I went and saw her last year with the whole family. It’s just a little hard,” Steven said. “We try to get together for Christmas and it’s fun, it’s beautiful. What we got is beautiful,” he added. So sweet!
