The Celebs at the Alan Thicke Funeral Prove He Was Truly a Star Among Stars

Alan Thicke’s memorial service was a star-studded one that included the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kirk Cameron, and Joanna Kerns in attendance.

But it’s clear that all these celebs saw Thicke as a special, rare kind of star.

The stars gathered with Thicke’s family members and close friends on the night of Dec. 18 to honor the late actor, who passed away from a heart attack just days earlier while playing hockey with his teen son.

Some spoke at the service, while others came to pay their respects. And many of the A-listers paid personal tributes to Thicke on their own time.

And Kerns said in an interview with People, “Alan was an unforgettable TV dad and husband. In the course of the show we became dear friends. He was a relentless flirt—handsome, cocky and wickedly funny. But he was also at heart a kind soul with a knack for self-deprecating humor.”
