These two cousins will have a LOT to talk about someday. That's because their fathers have long been embroiled in quite an amusing case of sibling rivalry, which has now ended in one of the strangest coincidences--and coolest childbirth stories--imaginable.
Chris and Matt Hicks are two Wisconsin brothers with a long history of healthy competition involved in everything they do--off-roading, duck-hunting, and other hobbies. But that rivalry came to a head this year, when the two found out their babies were due a week apart. And you'll never guess who won that contest.
Strangely enough, it's a tie! At the same hospital in Kenosha, WI, on the same day, and delivered by the same doctor, little Kadence was born first to Chris and his wife Courtney, and James arrived shortly after to parents Matt and his fiancee Allie Osheim. The entire extended family is thrilled--not least of all because they can easily visit both babies, who were staying just two rooms apart in the hospital.
Maybe now these brothers will finally put their competitiveness to rest--but we wouldn't bet on it.
