With only a few strings of light and some plywood, 34-year-old Jami Kelly stole the neighborhood show with her simple light display. Inspired by some Internet Christmas decorating shortcuts, Kelly took the lights and spelled a short, five-letter word: Ditto.
“We started doing lights and then we said, ‘You know what, screw it,’ ” Kelly told the Detroit News. “We can’t compare. Nothing measures up.”
