Whether you're tight on funds or saving up for something special, most of us try to pinch our pennies as much as we can when out shopping for household and lifestyle essentials. That's why I'm constantly baffled that more people don't head over to their local Dollar Tree to get items we use on a regular basis for just a buck!
Like other dollar stores, they can get a bad reputation for only offering knock-off or low quality products, but that couldn't be further from the truth! There are so many brand names you trust, like Colgate and Gain, that wouldn't allow their items to be sold in a store in the first place if they were worried about customer dissatisfaction (including food). Plus, some of those non-brand name items are just as useful as the ones you pay more for at other retail stores.
Note: We provide links to items on the official Dollar Tree website, but most of those can only be bought in bulk online. They have a new program that allows you to Pick & Pack individual items for $1 each if you buy a bunch of things, but if you want single items you'll have to head to the store. However, most of these items are things you'd want to have plenty of anyway!
Take a look to see which items you should always buy from the Dollar Tree when you need to stock up.
We write about products we think our readers will like. If you buy them, we get a small share of the revenue from the supplier.
