Spicy mustard sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds add a touch of gourmet decadence to these grown-up pigs-in-a-blanket.
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. spicy brown mustard
- 1 (16.3-ounce) package refrigerated biscuits such as original Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits, quartered
- 32 cocktail franks from 1 (13-ounce) package
- 1 egg beated
- 2 tsp. sesame seeds
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 tsp. Frank's RedHot sauce
Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Mix mayonnaise and mustard. Flatten each biscuit quarter into two-inch round. Dividing evenly, spread with mustard mixture. Working with one at a time, place one frank in center of each round. Bring one edge of dough round over frank, pressing onto frank; lightly brush top edge of dough with water. Bring remaining dough over; press to seal. Transfer to baking sheet. Brush dough with egg; sprinkle with seeds. Bake 12 minutes until golden. Mix ketchup and sauce; serve with franks.
