Frozen Strawberry Margarita

This refreshingly icy delight in a glass is extra fruity thanks to a kiss of peach schnapps.

8 - 8 serving

Total Time

Prep Time

  • 8 c. frozen strawberries (2 lbs.)
  • 2 c. ice cubes
  • 1 1/2 c. gold tequila
  • 1 c. frozen limeade mix (from 12 oz. cont.)
  • 1/2 c. peach schnapps
  • Kosher salt (optional)
  • Fresh strawberries

Working in 3–4 batches, in blender, combine frozen strawberries, ice cubes, tequila, limeade mix, and peach schnapps; cover and pulse until smooth.

Transfer strawberry mixture to large freezer-proof container; cover. Freeze until slushy, 2 hrs.

If desired, moisten rims of margarita glasses with water; dip into salt and invert. Carefully pour cocktails into glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
