Christmas Tree Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. buttter
  • coarsely chopped
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
  • 8 drinking straws
  • Wilton green cookie icing
  • Assorted sprinkles

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9” round cake pan with enough foil to overhang side by 2”; coat with cooking spray. In pot, combine butter and unsweetened chocolate; over low heat, cook until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.    

Stir in sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and salt; cool 20 min. Stir in mini chips. Spread in pan.  

Bake 30-35 min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs clinging. Cool 30 min. Transfer from pan to rack; cool.   

Remove brownie from pan; discard foil. Cut brownie into 8 wedges. Insert 1 straw into side of each wedge. Decorate with icing and sprinkles.
