With just a few simple ingredients, it’s easy to transform plain brownie mix into gourmet magic.
- 2/3 c dulce de leche, from 13.4-ounce can
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 (18-ounce) package milk chocolate brownie mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c oil
- 1/2 c chopped toasted almonds
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 8-inch square baking pan with enough foil to overhang sides by two inches; grease foil. In bowl, stir together dulce de leche and milk; reserve.
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions with eggs, oil, and 1/4 cup water; stir in almonds. Spread batter in pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool on rack. Cut into squares; drizzle individual brownies with dulce de leche mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt.
