Amy G. Cantor MD, MPH, FAAFP, MSCP
Dr. Cantor is a family physician in the primary care division at the OHSU Center for Women’s Health and senior investigator at the Pacific Northwest Evidence-based Practice center. She is a Professor of Medicine, Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at OHSU, fellowship trained in women’s health and certified by the Menopause Society. Dr. Cantor has extensive clinical and research expertise in women’s health across the lifespan and has led and supported several systematic evidence reviews on women’s health, health equity, preventive services, and maternity care topics on behalf of the USPSTF, PCORI, NIH, AHRQ, VA, and the HRSA-sponsored Women’s Preventive Services Initiative (WPSI). Her research has been used to determine national clinical practice guidelines, health policy, and health care coverage decisions affecting millions of Americans. In addition to research, she is currently the Medical Director of Evidence Based Guidelines for the OHSU Evidence Based Practice program and previously served as the Medical Director of the Health Evidence Review Commission for the Oregon Health Authority.
