Educated at Haverford College and Harvard Medical School, Dr. Andrew E. Budson is Chief of Cognitive Behavioral Neurology at the VA Boston Healthcare System, Associate Director of the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Professor of Neurology at Boston University and Lecturer in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He has given over 900 talks and published more than150 papers. He has also written nine books, including Six Steps to Managing Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia: A Guide for Families; Seven Steps to Managing Your Aging Memory: What’s Normal, What’s Not, and What to Do About It; and his latest book for everyone, Why We Forget and How to Remember Better: The Science Behind Memory. His books have been or are being translated into Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Arabic and Lithuanian.
