Annette Czernik, MD, FAAD
Dr. Czernik is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of DermMedical in Connecticut, where she combines advanced medical dermatology with modern cosmetic care to help patients achieve healthy, radiant skin at every stage of life. With more than a decade in academic medicine and private practice, Dr. Czernik is known for delivering highly personalized, evidence-based care focused on natural-looking results and long-term skin health.
Dr. Czernik treats a wide range of cosmetic and medical dermatology concerns including skin aging, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne, rosacea, hair loss, eczema, psoriasis, difficult-to-diagnose rashes, autoimmune skin disease, and inflammatory skin conditions. She is also a trusted expert on women’s skin health, skin rejuvenation, preventative skin care, and the impact of stress, hormones, and lifestyle on the skin.
Dr. Czernik believes aesthetic treatments should enhance and refresh natural beauty rather than dramatically alter appearance. Her approach focuses on customized treatment plans designed to help patients look refreshed, healthy, and confident while maintaining skin integrity and balance.
Dr. Czernik is an associate clinical professor with Mount Sinai in Manhattan as well as assistant clinical professor at Yale New Haven Medical Center.
Dr. Czernik earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, her dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine, and her fellowship training at NYU Medical Center. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
