Catherine Hagan Vargo, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS is a graduate of Duquesne University for both her undergraduate degrees (Biology and Health Sciences 2005) and her graduate degree (Doctorate in Physical Therapy 2007). She is a board-certified specialist in Orthopedics (2011, 2021) and Sports Medicine (2015, 2025) physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She currently provides PT services for ATI Physical Therapy as a Telerehab Physical Therapist. Catherine has presented at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) national conference, Performing Arts Medical Association (PAMA) annual conference, International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) annual conference and numerous local events on orthopedic, sports, and dance related topics. She is an adjunct associate professor for the University of Pittsburgh Physical Therapy Department throughout the musculoskeletal curriculum and patient management series. Catherine has previously provided PT services on the professional level to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and on the collegiate level to the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in addition to the many local dance studios in the Pittsburgh community.
