Dr. Bajani, an emergency and internal physician, is a recognized expert in telemedicine, international healthcare delivery and digital health innovation. He is the founder, CEO, and medical director of CHECKUP MD, a healthcare platform dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility for international travelers, multinational corporations, insurers, airlines, luxury hospitality providers and globally mobile populations.

Dr. Bajani’s career has been defined by a commitment to expanding access to healthcare beyond the traditional clinical setting. Over the past six years, Dr. Bajani has practiced telemedicine extensively within the maritime industry, delivering remote medical care to passengers and crew members located throughout the world. Operating in environments where telemedicine often represented the first and only point of medical access, he developed significant expertise in remote patient assessment, clinical triage, emergency decision-making and healthcare coordination across international borders. Dr. Bajani has assisted more than 8,000 patients worldwide. Approximately 95% of cases were successfully managed remotely through telemedicine consultations, while only 5% required escalation to advanced medical facilities or emergency medical evacuation.
