Frank Agullo, MD, FACS

Frank Agullo, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Surgery) and the founder and medical director of Southwest Plastic Surgery in El Paso, Texas. Known internationally as Dr. WorldWide, he specializes in preservation-based aesthetic surgery with a focus on patient safety and candidacy assessment.
 
Dr. Agullo trained at Universidad Anáhuac, ABC Medical Center, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and completed a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at TTUHSC Paul L. Foster School of Medicine and Affiliate Professor at UTEP.
 
He has authored more than 19 peer-reviewed publications and six book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Springer) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Global Open, the official open-access journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is an active peer reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, PRS Global Open, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic Surgery Journal, with more than 380 verified manuscript reviews. Dr. Agullo has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 11 consecutive years (2014-2026).
