Jennifer Walsh
For nearly 30 years, Jennifer Walsh has been at the forefront of transformative movements in beauty, retail and biophilic design. As a practitioner and innovator, her career has been dedicated to reimagining the human experience—whether through pioneering retail concepts, creating immersive outdoor experiences or driving biophilic design solutions across industries.
In the 1990s, Jennfier founded Beauty Bar, the first experiential omni-channel beauty brand in the U.S. This trailblazing work integrated biophilic principles long before they became mainstream, earning recognition as an industry innovator. After selling Beauty Bar ultimately purchased by Amazon in 2011, she continued to build groundbreaking businesses and brands, always staying ahead of the curve.
In 2016, she created Wellness Walks® as a living lab to explore the profound connection between nature and brain health. These walks have since become a cornerstone of her work, bringing corporate clients, hotel groups, schools and communities outdoors to experience the transformative power of nature.
As a practitioner of biophilia, she uses these insights to inspire new ways of thinking about wellness, brain health and human connection. Jennifer is a faculty advisor at UPenn, Center for Neuroaesthetics as well as the Brain Health Initiative under Harvard/Mass General.
