Louis J. Aronne, MD, FACP is one of the world’s leading authority on obesity. He is the Sanford I. Weill Professor of Metabolic Research at Weill-Cornell Medical College and directs the Comprehensive Weight Control Center, a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary obesity research and treatment program he founded in 1987. Dr. Aronne is a founder and Chief Scientific Advisor to FlyteHealth, a medical weight control program delivered online. Dr. Aronne is former president of the Obesity Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has authored more than 150 papers and book chapters on obesity.
