With over 10 years of editorial and digital media experience, she’s passionate about uncovering stories that inspire, captivate and encourage readers. She was also a recipient of the McClatchy President’s Award for Excellence in Editing for her work on the She Cares series. A Georgia native, Maggie recently returned to her Southern roots after spending nearly a decade in New York City and now calls Nashville, Tennessee, home, where she and her husband—who works in the music industry—are embracing Music City one live show at a time. Throughout her career, she’s created content for Faithbox, Proverbs 31 Ministries, Hair.com and Townhouse Digital. She graduated cum laude from the University of West Georgia with a BA in English and a minor in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism, and completed internships with Modern Luxury Media and College Fashionista. When she’s not chasing the next great story, you’ll find her out for a run, at a Jonas Brothers concert, checking another local restaurant off her mile-long must-try list or proving there’s a Taylor Swift song for just about every occasion.
