In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Dall’Era has a special research interest in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). She participates in clinical trials of potential new treatments for generalized lupus and lupus nephritis, kidney inflammation caused by lupus. Through her research, she hopes to develop advanced therapies for patients suffering from SLE.
Dall’Era earned her medical degree at UCSF, where she also completed her internal medicine residency, serving as chief resident, and a fellowship in rheumatology.
