Dr. Nidal Mazen Ganim is a native Houstonian who was born, raised and trained in Houston, Texas. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care while helping patients prevent, manage, and reverse heart disease through healthy lifestyle changes and evidence-based medicine.

He completed his medical education and postgraduate training entirely within Houston’s renowned Texas Medical Center. Dr. Ganim earned his medical degree from and completed both his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. His training in the Texas Medical Center provided him with the opportunity to learn from nationally recognized leaders and pioneers in cardiovascular medicine.

Prevention is the best medicine,” says Dr. Ganim, who is now on staff at Vital Heart & Vein, a premier healthcare institution specializing in comprehensive cardiovascular, vein and heart rhythm care in the Greater Houston area. “My passion is helping patients prevent and reverse heart disease through simple, sustainable, daily lifestyle changes built upon three pillars: (1) mind, emotion, and awareness, with conscious awareness serving as the foundation; (2) single-whole ingredient foods; and (3) daily physical activity, while providing the highest quality cardiovascular care when needed.”
