Niloofar Nobakht, MD, FASN, is a Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and currently serves as an Executive Councilor-at-Large, holding a leadership role within Women in Nephrology.
She spearheads the Women’s Health Research Projects in a multidisciplinary fashion aimed at improving care for women with kidney disease and hypertension. Dr. Nobakht strongly advocates for lifestyle medicine as a foundational approach to managing cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic disease and enhancing overall health and wellbeing.
