As a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, who specializes in complex spine conditions, minimally invasive surgeries, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation cases, and revision surgeries, Dr. Shah is a partner with Premier Orthopaedic Associates in the State of New Jersey.After earning his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Shah went on to complete his internship and residency at Yale University, where he served as Chief Resident. His intensive orthopaedic surgical training at Yale was dedicated to the advanced study of neurological functions and spinal disorders. Yale is distinguished for its contributions to the pioneering advancements of spinal and neck surgery.He then went on to complete his fellowship in complex spine and scoliosis surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. This provided him with advanced training above and beyond what a general residency in either neurosurgery or orthopaedic surgery would offer.By studying at some of the finest and most advanced institutions in the world, Dr. Shah trained with the most innovative leaders in spine and neck surgery. A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he pioneers trends in complex techniques and minimally invasive spinal surgery with orthopaedic surgeons and neurosurgeons across the globe. Moreover, he is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
