Sneha Mantri, MD, MS, FAAN

Sneha Mantri, MD, MS, FAAN, is the Parkinson’s Foundation’s first Chief Medical Officer, leading the organization’s medical and clinical care strategy and overseeing initiatives focused on high-quality, personalized Parkinson’s care.

A practicing movement disorders specialist, Dr. Mantri completed her medical degree at Columbia University, residency at University of Virginia and fellowship training at University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Her work emphasizes patient-centered care and the belief that people come before their diagnosis.

Dr. Mantri is also a principal investigator in health equity research and clinical trials, with a focus on improving access to Parkinson’s care, particularly in rural communities. She has developed educational programs for healthcare professionals and leads narrative medicine workshops for patients. Her work has been recognized by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation and the American Academy of Neurology.

Her recent work includes leading THRIVE-PD, a team-based early intervention care model across the Carolinas, and collaborating with the Margolis Institute for Health Policy through the Duke Clinical Leadership Program.

Dr. Mantri has published extensively in leading medical journals and has served on the faculty at Duke University since 2018. She also continues to see patients at the Duke Movement Disorders Center.
