Sruthi Arepalli, MD

Sruthi Arepalli, MD, is an ophthalmologist and an assistant professor in the department of ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Arepalli has completed two fellowships, one in surgical retina as well as uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases. She grew up in the Washington, DC, area and completed her undergraduate and medical degree at George Washington University

After her ophthalmology residency at the Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic, she completed her first fellowship in uveitis at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Arepalli went on to complete a two year fellowship in surgical retina at the Cole Eye Institute, where she was named a Heed Fellow, one of the most prestigious research honors given to ophthalmology trainees. Dr. Arepalli was also awarded the Cole Eye Institute Fellow of the Year for Excellence in Teaching Award during her second year.

Dr. Arepalli’s clinical interests include patients with complex medical and surgical retina pathology, along with both pediatric and adult patients with uveitis.
