Although you might expect Hargitay to be using an expensive, high-end brand of facial cleanser and moisturizer, the actress’ Emmy’s look had a much more budget-friendly base. According to Synnott, she used products from the Cetaphil line on Hargitay’s skin.

“It’s really reassuring using Cetaphil on a client because I know I’m using products backed by sensitive skin science, so I can feel confident they’ll perform beautifully across different skin types,” celebrity makeup artist Kate Synnott shared. “Especially before a big red-carpet moment, having skin that’s properly prepped, hydrated and looking its best is so important.”
