Sharing photos on Instagram, Moore captioned,  “Ringing in the holiday season with reunions of all sorts! Pilaf and I had the best time celebrating with old and new friends” before showcasing just how many people stepped out to celebrate her including stars like Scandal’s Tony Goldwyn, The Breakfast Club’s Molly Ringwald, actress Chloë Sevigny, the Karate Kid’s Ralph Macchio, actor Matthew Modine, journalist Don Lemon and of course Moore’s adorable teacup chihuahua Pilaf.

Other stars also posted pictures from the event, including Ringwald, who Moore was famously in the “Brat Pack” with, although the two never actually worked on a project together until 2024 when their first on-screen collaboration came with the limited series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.

“Milly & Mouse reunited at last,” Ringwald wrote on Instagram. “Happy birthday, Demi, and congratulations on the GG [Golden Globe] nomination!”

But that wasn’t the only time Ringwald took time to praise the birthday girl. Earlier this year, she told Extra that she had “always admired Demi” even though they “didn’t really know each other” in the 80s.

Ringwald also admitted that she “lost a lot of parts to this lady” over the years, but she still loves her 40 years later and counting.

Inside Demi Moore’s life today: acting & her enduring Bruce Willis bond

When she’s not celebrating her birthday or hanging out with her chihuahua Pilaf, Moore can be found doing one of two things: acting or helping take care of her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, who is currently battling aphasia, which slowly turned into frontotemporal dementia.

“Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment,” Moore said earlier this month. “And I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at.”

“And from that place, there is such loving and joy.”

Moore and Willis were married from 1987 until 2000 and had three children together.

“We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we’re probably as close now as we ever were,” Willis said at the time of the split. “We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues.”

Following her divorce from Willis, Moore remarried and was with her third husband, Ashton Kutcher, from 2005 until 2013. However, she is not as open, honest and willing to talk about that relationship, most likely because of how much pain their relationship caused her.

In the actress’s memoir Inside Out, Moore detailed how, during their relationship, she began to abuse Vicodin and developed a rather serious alcohol problem.

“Ashton was enjoying a glass of good red wine when he said, ‘I don’t know if alcoholism is a real thing – I think it’s all about moderation,’” wrote the actress. “I wanted to be that girl. The girl who could have a glass of wine at dinner or do a tequila shot at a party. In my mind, Ashton wanted that, too. So I tried to become that: a fun, normal girl.”

“I didn’t think, ‘This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what he’s talking about.’ I think, ‘I have nearly two decades of sobriety under my belt, and that’s a huge accomplishment.’ Instead, I cast about for justifications.”

Moore also said that she “wanted to be something other than who I am. And it was literally like giving my power away.”

Kutcher remarried in 2015 and currently has two kids with his wife, Mila Kunis.
