George and Amal Clooney Are Expecting Twins

We hope you’re sitting down for this George Clooney news. Because three years after the so-called stubborn bachelor married the woman of his dreams, Amal Clooney, the happy couple’s family is growing.

And it’s growing by two.

Yes, really. Human-rights lawyer Amal Clooney is pregnant and expecting twins with her superstar actor hubby, according to Julie Chen, host of The Talk. On Feb. 9, Chen revealed that she had confirmed with the 55-year-old ER alum back in late January that the pair had two little ones on the way (sorry, but how did she keep that secret for so long?!). And the bundles of joy are reportedly due in June, as confirmed by another insider.

We understand if you might need to take a few deep breaths before you faint of excitement. These lovebirds were an unexpected match, but we have been pulling for them from the get-go (as have many fans). The Clooneys first met through a mutual friend at a charity fundraiser back in fall of 2013. Totally lovestruck, the couple has been virtually inseparable ever since. And we bet now with these incoming bundles of joy, there will be even more love to go around for the power couple.

“Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!” Chen said on her show.

We couldn’t agree more! Plus, can you imagine how cute those little faces will be? We truly can’t wait to meet them.
